SASP MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Sight Ain’t Seeing Productions is to provide affordable, faith-based productions and programs that entertain as well as educate our multi-cultural audience about the resilience of historically under-represented and under-served African American communities through past and present challenges.

SASP VISION STATEMENT

Sight Ain’t Seeing Productions will become known as a valued channel and training ground for local artists and technicians.  Through first-class productions and developmental programs Sight Ain’t Seeing Productions will cultivate the rich talent that is nestled in our community as we bring both historical and cultural awareness to an ever growing audience by the telling of ‘our stories’.

ABOUT SAS PRODUCTIONS

Sight Ain’t Seeing Productions (SASP) is a Texas-based, non-profit Creative Arts organization, located in the Austin metropolitan area. We provide quality and affordable entertainment and education to historically underserved and economically overlooked communities.

  • SASP is a faith-based, non-profit 501(C) 3 organization that educates and encourages through the use of creative arts.
  • SASP produces family-oriented, inspirational and culturally relevant theatrical productions each year using local artists and technicians, this includes students.
  • SASP hosts a creative arts camp, Believe Beyond Boundaries (BBB), for middle and high school students
  • SASP conducts and hosts workshops and seminars including an anti-bullying series of skits and plays from an African American cultural perspective.
  • SASP produces a weekly local cable television series called The Amen Circle.
  • SASP also collaborates with other local individuals, organizations and groups such as Pro-Arts Collective and the African American Training and Resource Center (A-TRC) to bring a multi-cultural awareness and appreciation to our community.
